Normally, I try to find beautiful words to share on September 11th... and every year, I am more angry than the last year about what has transpired in this nation since that awful day.
The "Patriot Act" might be the most tyrannical, anti-American piece of legislation in our history. It's an abomination that permanently surrendered the 4th amendment.
All of the spying on Trump, his people, his campaign, his administration, and his family, was made possible by this single piece of legislation. The wounds of 9/11 will never fully heal until the Patriot Act is totally eliminated.
I don't want to be bitter or angry on a day of remembrance, but I can't help it. Our country is circling the drain as the occupier and chief surrenders every geopolitical point of leverage we've ever had. The regime has hijacked the executive branch, and everyone with a brain knows it.
Cave dwelling, goat f*cking jihadis were never the problem. The problem has always been an out of control military industrial complex that only maintains relevance through the death and destruction of innocent lives.
Trump exposed how easy it actually is to eliminate terrorists when he wiped out ISIS in a single pay period (2 weeks). This was after we had spent $6 trillion dollars chasing our tail in Afghanistan for two plus decades.
It's all been bullshit. The reason for war. The reason for death. The reason for spending. The only thing that's been real is the lives it costs us. The families who have had to live without their loved ones. The death and destruction of not only American families but innocent civilians abroad.
9-11 is the day to remember two things:
1) Americans are courageous people who will rush into collapsing buildings to save their fellow countrymen.
And
2) Our governemnt f*cking hates us. They hated us before the attacks. They hated us after the attacks. They hate us for trying to remove them by electing Trump.
9/11 reminds me to never forgive these motherf*ckers. It's not revenge I want. It's a reckoning I desire.
